Ferro-Vanadium Powder/ FeV Powder Description
Ferro-Vanadium Powder is a finely granular form of vanadium alloyed with iron. It is used as an additive in the manufacture of steel and other alloys. The powder form permits precise mixing and distribution during the alloying process, thereby improving the strength, hardness and corrosion resistance of the final product. This powder is employed in the production of high‐strength steels, tool steels and stainless steels.

Ferro-Vanadium Powder/ FeV Powder Application:
1. In steel production, manufacturers add Ferro-Vanadium Powder to increase strength, hardness and corrosion resistance.
2. In alloy production, engineers incorporate the powder into various formulations to enhance material properties.
3. In the automotive industry, producers use the powder in high‐strength low‐alloy (HSLA) steels for automotive applications.
4. In tool and mould making, technicians blend the powder into steels to improve hardness and wear resistance.
5. Energy storage systems utilise the powder as an electrode material in vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB), which store electrical energy through vanadium ion electrolysis and are commonly employed for grid-level energy storage.
