Gadolinium Oxalate Powder Description
Gadolinium oxalate, also known as Gadolinium(III) Oxalate Hydrate, is a rare‐earth compound of gadolinium. It is insoluble in water and concentrated mineral acids. Gadolinium is a rare‐earth element with a high magnetic moment. Given that magnetic moment, gadolinium can increase signal intensity by shortening relaxation times. It is used in semiconductor fabrication and for shielding nuclear reactors. In combination with EDTA ligands, gadolinium may be employed as an injectable contrast agent for MRI.

Gadolinium Oxalate Powder Applications
- Used in the extraction of gadolinium, particularly from xenotime, due to its insolubility.
- Used as a common raw material for the production of Gadolinium Oxide, especially in the manufacture of photoluminescent phosphors and cathodoluminescent phosphors.
Gadolinium Oxalate Powder Packaging
