Ir(p-Me-ppy)3 Powder Description
Ir(mppy)3, Tris[2-(p-tolyl)pyridin]iridium(III), is commonly utilised as a phosphorescent dopant that emits green light in high-efficiency OLED and TADF-OLED devices. With three methyl groups bound to the ppy ligands, Ir(mppy)3 exhibits improved solubility compared to the widely recognised green emitter Ir(ppy)3.
When co-doped with Ir(ppz)3, Ir(mppy)3 components demonstrate a reduced efficiency decline and higher electroluminescence performance due to an enhanced recombination probability and suppressed exciton quenching.
