Incoloy 800H (Alloy 800H, UNS N08810) Flange Description:

The Incoloy alloy is a series of superalloys manufactured by Special Metals Corporation. It consists of nickel–iron–chromium alloys used for applications that demand high corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. Incoloy alloys have a composition that differs from Inconel alloys, and these variations affect their respective applications.
Incoloy 800H is an iron–nickel–chromium alloy that maintains the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, but it exhibits significantly higher creep strength. This increase is achieved through precise control of the carbon, aluminium and titanium contents, combined with a high-temperature anneal. During the modification of 800H, the carbon content (0.05 to 0.10%) and the grain size (>ASTM 5) were controlled in order to optimise creep properties. Incoloy 800H also has a modified combined titanium and aluminium content (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimal high-temperature performance. The alloy is dual certified and consolidates the properties of both forms.
