Inconel 625 (Alloy 625, UNS N06625) Wire Description:
Inconel 625 is a frequently used nickel-chromium alloy that provides a high level of strength and ease of fabrication. It exhibits a defined set of characteristics. Inconel 625 is highly resistant to a range of corrosive environments, including high-temperature effects such as oxidation and carburisation. Given that the refractory metals Co and Mo are incorporated into a nickel-chromium matrix, the alloy maintains excellent strength and toughness at temperatures from ambient conditions up to 2000°F (1093°C).
Other Commercial Names: Alloy 625, Nickel 625, Chornin 625, Altemp 625, Nickelvac 625, Haynes 625, Nicrofer 6020, W.NR 2.4856, AWS 012
