Inconel is a registered trademark of Special Metals Corporation. Inconel 718 is a Gamma-Prime strengthened alloy that demonstrates mechanical performance at elevated temperatures and at cryogenic temperatures up to approximately 704°C (1 300°F). It can be machined and may be welded in both the annealed and the age-hardened conditions.
