Furnace Construction

• The furnace consists of 10 small tube furnace modules with aluminium oxide tubes of 25 O.D. x 460mm L.
• Each heating module is separated by insulating material with an air cooling layer.
• The temperature of each module can be controlled independently, with a maximum temperature of up to 1600°C.
• Quick-release flange, vacuum gauge, and flow meter are installed to enable heating under vacuum or flowing gas.
• Up to 10 samples can be processed simultaneously at different temperatures.

Processing Tube

• High-purity aluminium oxide tube with Φ25X L 460 mm, 10 tubes included
• 10 quick-release flanges with 1/8 gas inlet and outlet as well as vacuum connections are built in
• 20 needle valves for connection to gas inlet and outlet to control gas flow are available optionally
• 10 vacuum connections on the rear are connected to a vacuum pump via a 10-to-1 adapter
• Only one vacuum pump is required via a KF25 connection.
• Max. vacuum 10^-3 Torr with a mechanical pump and 10^-5 Torr with a turbo pump

Working Temperature

• Max. temperature: 1600℃ (continuous); 1700℃ (<1 hour)
• Heating rate: ≤10℃/min
• Temperature accuracy: ±1℃/±0.1℃ (Eurotherm controller available for an additional fee)

Temperature Control

• 10 channel heating tubes are controlled independently by a programmable temperature controller with 30 segments
• Thermal couple type B
• 10 controllers are integrated into a 7" PLC touch screen panel.
