Phosphoric Acid Description
Phosphoric acid, also known as orthophosphoric acid (H3PO4), is a colourless, odourless and highly soluble inorganic acid. It is a significant chemical compound with a variety of applications in industry, commerce and laboratories.
Phosphoric Acid Specification
CAS#: 7664-38-2, M.F.: H3PO4; M.W.: 97.99; Melting point: 42.35°C, Boiling point: 213°C. It is used as a cleaning and etching agent in TFT-LCD and IC production. It is utilised as an etchant for aluminium and silicon nitride films in semiconductor ICs. It is employed to produce high-purity phosphates and organic phosphorus products. It absorbs water from humid air and dissolves in water, thereby releasing substantial heat and forming H3PO4.
