YAG (Ce) Scintillation Crystal Description:
YAG (Ce) exhibits a maximum emission wavelength at 650 nm. Consequently, it is matched to the sensitivity range of CCD sensors. Cerium‐doped YAG provides a rapid scintillation response, reliable mechanical performance and chemical resistance. The YAG (Ce) scintillation crystal has been introduced as a scintillation material. It also presents a high threshold for high-energy electrons or ions, thereby making it applicable in environments with high electrical currents.
