Aluminium Silicate for Thermal Spraying Description
Mullite or Porcellanite is a rare silicate mineral with post‐tonal genesis. It can form two stoichiometric compounds: 3Al2O3-2SiO2 or 2Al2O3-SiO2. Our aluminium silicate for thermal spraying is produced in the form 3Al2O3-2SiO2, achieving a purity of up to 99.95%.

Aluminium Silicate for Thermal Spraying Advantages
- Low thermal conductivity and low expansion coefficient, with high phase stability
- Suitable for Environmental Barrier Coatings (EBC) to protect Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs)
- Functional at temperatures up to 1300 °C (2370 °F)
Aluminium Silicate for Thermal Spraying Applications
Our aluminium silicate powder can be used for:
- EBC covering material on turbine blades and guide vanes
- EBC covering material for turbine combustion chamber components
- Wear-resistant coatings with a low coefficient of thermal expansion
Aluminium Silicate for Thermal Spraying Packaging
Our powder is clearly marked and labelled externally to ensure efficient identification and quality control. Measures are taken during packaging to prevent damage during storage or transport.
