Zinc is a silvery‑white metal that has a brittle structure and a reflective surface. It exhibits high chemical reactivity, undergoing oxidation or reacting with non‑metals. Industries utilise approximately 70% of produced zinc for galvanising on iron and steel to provide corrosion protection. Additional applications include batteries, small non‑structural cast components, and alloys such as brass or bronze.

Purity: 99%.
High Purity: Zinc evaporation materials are available in high-purity forms. They ensure reproducible thin film deposition.
Versatility: These materials are used to deposit zinc layers for a range of applications, including protective coatings, semiconductors and photovoltaics.
Uniform Deposition: Zinc evaporation materials enable precise deposition. This results in uniform layer thickness and consistent optical properties.
Customisable Forms: Various forms are available, such as pellets, rods, wires and granules. They allow flexibility with deposition methods and equipment.
Compatibility with Various Substrates: Zinc layers can be deposited on substrates including glass, ceramics, metals and semiconductors. This increases the application range.
Optics: Zinc films are used in antireflection coatings, mirrors and optical filters for lenses, displays and photonic devices.
Semiconductor Industry: Zinc is used in semiconductors because of its electrical properties. It contributes to the manufacture of electronic components.
Corrosion Protection: Zinc coatings protect metals against corrosion in automotive, construction and industrial applications.
Photovoltaics: Thin zinc-based layers enhance light absorption and energy conversion efficiency in solar cell technology.
Decorative Coatings: Zinc coatings are utilised in decorative finishes for jewellery, household items and architectural elements.
Our zinc evaporation materials are procured from accredited suppliers. Every product undergoes rigorous quality control tests to meet established industry standards.
