Description of the Mixed Metal Oxide Titanium Tube Anode
Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) anodes, also known as form‑stable anodes, are a type of sacrificial anode for impressed current systems. They are composed of rare earth oxide applied onto a titanium substrate. The MMO coating exhibits a low consumption rate, thereby maintaining constant metal dimensions throughout the anode's service life, which results in a stable low resistance. These anodes are used in environments such as sea water, brackish water, fresh water, carbon backfill and concrete.

Advantages
- High resistance under conditions influenced by both oxygen and chlorine
- Various product compositions available for specific applications
- Maintains performance in acidic media
- Extended service life
