Magnesia Stabilised Zirconia Tube Description
Magnesia Stabilised Zirconia Tube is a ceramic product designed for use in demanding applications. It exhibits resistance to thermal shock and erosion. The tube has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and non-wetting properties. Zirconia (ZrO2) tubes serve as fire-resistant and insulating materials. They melt cleanly at temperatures exceeding 1 900°C and are manufactured specifically for melting superalloys and noble metals. They also demonstrate chemical inertness, temperature cycling resistance up to 2 200°C and resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis.

Applications of Magnesia Stabilised Zirconia Tubes
Magnesia Stabilised Zirconia Tubes find diverse applications in various industrial sectors. They are used for shafts, pistons and sealing structures. Their longevity and resistance make them suitable in the automotive industry, for oil drilling and as insulating components in electrical devices. Given that performance has been verified in controlled tests, they are also employed in everyday items such as ceramic knives and replacement parts for ceramic hair trimmers.
