Description of Wire from the High-Performance Alloy Nickel MP35N
MP35N is an austenitic Ni-Co-Cr-Mo alloy. It exhibits a high mechanical strength and a high level of corrosion resistance as measured against standard test methods. It is resistant to stress corrosion cracking and adverse environmental conditions, and is therefore frequently selected for fastener and spring components. MP35N withstands corrosion in hydrogen sulphide, saltwater and other chloride solutions. Given these characteristics, it is often employed in components for marine environments, such as cable assemblies incorporating sensors for deep-sea measurements. It is also utilised in the automotive and aerospace industries.

Advantages
- Demonstrated corrosion resistance
- Tensile strength and ductility as detailed in the specifications
- Consistent mechanical properties at ambient temperatures
- Resistance to crevice and stress corrosion cracking
