Nickel-Aluminium-Bronze (AMS 4640/C63000) Description
Nickel-Aluminium-Bronze (AMS 4640/C63000) is a strand-extruded aluminium bronze alloy that contains nickel. It is formulated to provide increased strength and impact resistance. This heat treatable alloy contains 5% nickel. The addition of nickel results in measurable improvements in bearing and corrosion resistance. It is employed when increased mechanical properties are required.
