Nickel-Aluminium-Bronze (AMS 4880/C95510) Description
Nickel-Aluminium-Bronze (AMS 4880/C95510) is produced by continuous casting and subjected to heat treatment. The mechanical properties of AMS 4880 have been measured to exceed those of AMS 4640 in standard tests. In many cases, AMS 4880 from NBM may be substituted with AMS 4640, given that our material is available in hollow bar form. This configuration contributes to cost reductions by decreasing weight and reducing scrap.
