Chromium Corundum Abrasive Description

Chromium Corundum Abrasive is produced by adding appropriate amounts of chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) to alumina (Al₂O₃) and then melting it at high temperatures. Depending on the chromium content, it appears in pink or purplish-red colors. Its hardness is similar to white corundum but higher than brown corundum, and its toughness is greater than white corundum but lower than brown corundum.
