The 3240 Epoxy-Phenolic Glass Fabric Laminate is crafted by hot-pressing alkali-free E-glass woven cloth impregnated with epoxy and phenolic resins. This composite panel has a compact structure, with a density of approximately 1.8–2.0 g/cm³ and excellent moisture resistance (water absorption ≤ 0.5%). It exhibits outstanding mechanical strength, including flexural strength perpendicular to the laminate ≥ 340 MPa, compressive strength ≥ 350 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 200 MPa, and outstanding impact performance (Charpy impact ≥ 33 kJ/m² for supported and ≥ 34 kJ/m² for cantilever methods). Its shear strength reaches ≥ 30 MPa. Electrically, it delivers high insulation capacity: dielectric strength perpendicular to the board exceeds 14.2 kV/mm at 1 mm thickness in oil at 90 ± 2 °C, with parallel breakdown voltage above 35 kV under the same conditions. The low dielectric loss factor (≤ 0.04 at 50 Hz) and high insulation resistance (≥ 5×10¹² Ω normally, ≥ 5×10¹⁰ Ω after 24-hour water immersion) ensure stable electrical performance.
