Spherical Niobium Powder Description
Niobium has a low neutron capture cross-section, high thermal conductivity and high strength. It is utilised as a material for nuclear fuel cladding, as an additive in nuclear fuel alloys and as a structural material for heat exchangers in nuclear reactors. Metallurgical niobium powder is mainly used as an alloying supplement and in the manufacture of welding electrodes, refractory materials, etc.
Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) has more than two decades’ experience in producing and distributing niobium products and specialises in the production of highly pure spherical niobium powder.
