Platinated Titanium Anode Description
The platinated titanium anode consists of a titanium anode that is coated with platinum or platinum metal oxides. These anodes serve as inert, non‐consumable electrodes and are not soluble in the electrolyte under electrolysis conditions.
Platinum is chosen as an anode material because of its high electrical conductivity and low consumption. However, given that it is a noble metal, a cost‐efficient approach is frequently adopted.
