Description of the Platinum-Plated Niob Mesh Anode:
In the platinum-plated Niob mesh anode, a platinum layer is deposited on a Niob mesh to achieve a smooth, even and pore-free surface. A specialised coating solution with high speed and current density is used. The Niob mesh exhibits high corrosion resistance and requires significantly lower current and voltage compared with plating mesh. Consequently, it is used for the galvanic deposition of noble metals.

Features of the Platinum-Plated Niob Mesh Anode:
- Increased Current Carrying Capacity: The surface of the platinum-plated Niob mesh supports between 4 and 5 times the current compared with the titanium mesh.
- Prolonged Service Life: The service life of the Niob mesh anode is 4 to 5 times greater than that of the platinum–titanium mesh, thereby reducing operating costs by up to 2.5 times.
- Even Current Distribution: It ensures an even current distribution and uniform coating thickness, thereby improving the quality of galvanic processes.
Applications of the Platinum-Plated Niob Mesh Anode:
- Noble Metal Galvanics: Used for the coating of gold, silver, platinum and other noble metals due to its high conductivity and corrosion resistance.
- Aluminium Wheel Hub Galvanics: Applied in processes for the precise and uniform coating of aluminium wheel hubs and other components.
- Specialised Galvanics: Suitable for galvanic applications that require precise and uniform coatings.
- Recycling: Assists in the recovery of valuable metals from electronic waste and other materials.
- Anodic Oxidation: Used to generate protective oxide layers on metals such as titanium and aluminium, thereby increasing corrosion resistance and surface hardness.
- General Galvanics: Offers a cost-effective solution in the galvanic industry due to its stability and low maintenance costs.
