Description of Beryllium Copper Strips

Beryllium copper (BeCu), also known as copper–beryllium or beryllium bronze, is among the highest strength copper alloys available on the market. The industrial grade beryllium copper comprises 0.2–0.4% beryllium. The alloys are non-magnetic and do not produce sparks. They are used in a range of applications. In addition, copper–beryllium performs well in most metalworking and joining processes, thereby permitting the economical production of specific configurations.
