Beryllium Copper (BeCu) Plate and Sheet is an age-hardenable alloy recognised for its combination of high strength, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and durability. Composed primarily of copper with a small addition of beryllium, it undergoes a precise heat treatment process to achieve mechanical properties that can rival many steels, while retaining the beneficial characteristics of copper alloys.

This material is valued across demanding industries for its fatigue and wear resistance, non-magnetic and non-sparking properties, and consistent performance in corrosive environments. The following alloys conform to the ASTM B194 specification, which this product page primarily covers:

• Alloy 25 (UNS C17200): With its high beryllium content, this grade achieves the highest strength and hardness after age-hardening. It is widely used in electrical connectors, springs, and aerospace components demanding high reliability.
• Alloy 165 (UNS C17000): This grade offers a balance of strength and electrical conductivity. It is commonly selected for springs, automotive components, and other applications where both mechanical and electrical performance are critical.
