Beryllium Copper Sheet/Plate Description
Beryllium copper (BeCu), also known as copper‐beryllium and beryllium bronze, is a copper alloy with high tensile strength available on the market today. Industrial grade beryllium copper contains between 0.2% and 0.4% beryllium. The alloy is non‐magnetic and does not produce sparks. Consequently, it is suitable for numerous applications. Given that copper‐beryllium performs well in most metal processing and joining procedures, designated configurations can be produced economically. Beryllium copper is a ductile material that can be stamped and formed into complex shapes with tight tolerances.
