Nanocrystalline Cores Description
Nanocrystalline cores exhibit high permeability over a wide frequency range. They are employed in common‐mode chokes, which serve as EMI filters to reduce conducted common‐mode noise. In comparison with standard ferrite cores, the nanocrystalline core offers high inductance, effective filtering as quantified in tests, compact dimensions and reduced volume, fewer copper winding turns, lower current consumption and high efficiency.
