Tantalum Telluride Crystal exhibits metallic, superconducting properties (at 0.1 K or under hydrostatic pressure) and charge density wave behaviour at approximately 160-180 K. Environmentally stable TaTe2 crystals in the monoclinic phase have been synthesised using the flux zone method and chemical vapour transport (CVT) technique. The offered TaTe2 CDW crystals are perfectly layered, oriented in the 0001 direction, and thus ready for exfoliation. Our crystals demonstrate an extremely low defect concentration of 1E10 to 1E11 ^cm-2. Flux zone-grown TaTe2 crystals exhibit guaranteed CDW behaviour.
