Monel Sintergeflecht Description:
Monel is an industrial nickel‐based alloy that offers tensile strength exceeding that of unalloyed nickel. It exhibits ductility and resists corrosion when exposed to media including sulphuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, caustic solutions, solvents and salt water. The Nickel-Copper alloy Monel retains its mechanical properties at temperatures at or below 0°C. The alloy is weldable and provides tensile and yield strengths that meet engineering requirements. It shows resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Its low strength in the annealed state necessitates heat treatment to increase strength.
Monel-Sintergewebe can be employed over a wide temperature range and in a variety of media. It provides measurable tensile strength and can be readily welded. Monel-Sintergewebe is manufactured using diverse weaving patterns, ranging from plain square meshes to Dutch twill constructions. It meets prescribed technical performance criteria.
